.NET Developer

This position will work closely with other local team members, regional colleagues, and possibly with clients to deliver projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute, support and/or lead programming projects that include all stages of the project lifecycle (design, coding, testing, debugging, and code promotion) for both new and existing applications
• Assist with and/or execute software releases, system upgrades, and troubleshooting of application systems
• Opportunity to participate in and/or lead Research and Development (R&D) activities for the company on devices such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mobile / Interactive Kiosks, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Windows Universal Apps and IoT
• Manage, train, review performance of less senior team members

Experience / Skills

GOOD TO HAVE

1. Experience with object oriented design and programming skills using .NET technologies
2. Experience with relational database modeling, advanced SQL queries/procedures, and object-relational mapping frameworks
3. Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Hadoop, etc.) and of Web Service architectures
   1. Experience working with one or more rich Internet technologies such as JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks (JQuery/Node.js, etc.), HTML5, etc.
   2. Knowledge / Experience with a content management CMS package (e.g. Sitecore, Windows Azure, CQ5/AEM, Umbraco, SharePoint, Kentico, or Sitefinity) would be an advantage.
   3. Understanding of traditional waterfall and agile software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Rational Unified Process, Lean Software Development
      1. Basic English

Education

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
2. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
