Clipsal Vietnam (by Schneider Electric)

Clipsal is a leader in Asia-Pacific on LifeSpace Market (installation system and control, electrical accessories including cables and sockets), originated from Australia since 1920. In 2006, Schneider Electric acquired Clipsal and adds it into the portfolio with more than 100 brands.

Clipsal Vietnam Factory was established in 1996 and now is located in Bien Hoa Industrial Zone I with more than 500 employees. Our products are exported around the world with high focus on the Asia Pacific Market. We apply the advanced production management system (LEAN, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S...). We’re looking for the qualified candidates for below positions

 

TEMPORARY PRODUCT ENGINEER (9 MONTHS)

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for qualifying parts/products in according to project schedule.

+ Ensure FAIR, Cpk, test report of parts/ product available and acceptable

+ Ensure 4M to be signed off by related manager priority to MP approval.

  • Ensure technical specification translated to quality checklist.
  • Works closely with project team to commit on qualification timeline with the assistance of Product Engineering coordinator.
  • Ensure master samples are available.

Requirement:

  • Fresh graduated engineers with Mechatronics & Electronic Engineering background 
  • Prefer 1 years experience
  • Able to read technical drawings and use Auto Cad.
  • English TOEIC 350
  • Good at office computer software (special Excel & PowerPoint)

 PRODUCT ENGINEER (TOOLING ENGINEER)

Responsibilities:

To provide technical support to new project on plastic parts & metal tooling. Ensure suppliers provide good quality of tools, parts and on time plan.

  • To review and approve tool layout

-     Review tool layout such as cooling system, sprue, cavities arrangement..etc from RnD, and send approval to suppliers.

  • To review and qualify parts

-     Receive parts from supplier. Do checking dimension, visual, assembly to ensure it meet specification.

-     Review FAIR, CpK and release 4M with master samples, hand out master samples to suppliers.

-     Check part weight and document it.

  • To support Production Trial Run (PTR)

-     Come to supplier to follow-up PTR running

-     Give technical support such as injection machine set-up.

  • Directly communicate with RnD on progress of samples, any issue during tooling fabrication, PTR...etc.

Requirement:

  • College or University degree in Mechanical or any related field
  • 2 years experience with tooling design, fabrication, reparation or injection.
  • English – TOIEC > 450
  • Well understanding Technical Drawing

 

PRODUCT ENGINEER (TECHNICAL & SPECIFICATION)

Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for qualifying new sources, ensure no negative impacts on product quality performance:

-  Support Purchasing to qualify parts from new source in line with RnD requirements.

-  Seek technical supports from RnD and overcome roadblock in qualifying new source.

  • Lead PEP in plant

-  Join BOC meeting monthly with RnD Zhenshen & RnD Adelaide.

-  Follow-up PEP process with RnD engineers.

-  Deploy design change in CVN plant.

-  Update deliverables document in to Tempo database.

  • To provide technical support to factory.

-  Give product knowledge training to teams.

-  Support production to solve quality issues.

-  Raise change design proposal to RnD & work with RnD to finalize solution

Requirement:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or electronic Engineering
  • At least 3 years experience in related position
  • English –  TOIEC > 650
  • Well understanding Technical Drawing
  • Target oriented
  • To have understanding for LEAN concepts and production
  • Familiar with PSVP (part/product validation Plan)
  • Able to lead a team
  • Knowledge of Product / Process / Quality Engineer

 AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

  • Fully responsible for Method Engineering of the company including improvement of processes and ensure the good operation of equipment and facilities
  • Responsible for the Environment and Safety programs of Method Engineering department
  • Key operations include Assembly and Maintenance
  • Organization meeting with local & oversea supplier.
  • Cost study: BCI (Business Case Investment) & BCFE (Business Case Financial Evaluation)
  • Write training material about automation and also work instruction.
  • To ensure a safety environment for all employees at shop-floor.
  • Indentify and recognize an unsafe condition and make recommendations to resolve unsafe acts.
  • Feasibility study automation projects.
  • Build up PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)/PCP (Process Control Plan) & LADM (Line Architecture Design Methodology)/Layout and also DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
  • Write specification.
  • Recommendation for automation solutions.
  • Deploy & monitor projects.
  • Report & present projects.
  • Trail run & training.
  • Plan TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) for automation machine.
  • Put in place an effective TPM (for machines & equipments). Guideline & Training.
  • To drive continuous improvement for Equipments.

Requirement:

  • Graduate from Technical University (major: control-automation or electro-mechanical)
  • At least 3 years of work experience in tendering
  • Fluent in oral and written English.
  • Computer proficiency in AutoCad, Pro, Solidworks, Office, …
  • Green Belt certified
  • Strong understanding in Lean and production system principles
  • Build a competency on the electro-mechanical product knowledge
  • Knowledge of Electrical Distribution & Automation equipment
  • Knowledge of contract documents and able to understand clearly specifications and drawings
  • Basic knowledge and experience in energy management, power distribution, monitoring and control/automation industry (metering, transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, PLCs, drives, HMI,…)
  • Knowledge of product / process / material flow.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing system and processes.
  • Well knowledge of device control, PLC, Sensor, Cylinder, HMI,…
  • Has well successes with some automation projects ago.
  • Can independence working & team
  • Like learning & find out new solutions
  • Can mobility & mission for long day
  • Clear identification with company goals, high initiative and positive thinking
  • Able to self-manage, multi-task and learn new skills quickly
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
